I make this bed in three different woods. Other wood species are available. My beds are made with 1-3/4” thick rails.
Walnut and Aluminum Classic modern bed
Made from Walnut, this bed exemplifies clean, simple lines. It is available in other woods: Cherry, Tiger Maple, Walnut, Oak and Ash. It is shown with Aluminum feet painted with Matte Black or made in Natural Polished Aluminum.
Platform Setup, When this bed is shipped you have to buy 1/2” plywood at a Home Center. It has slat supports and center support for using only a Mattress and no Box Spring.
Image of Bed Bolt Nut and Bolt. The hole is drilled into rail from inside and is not visible on outside of rail, the beds are easy to setup. Rails are numbered with corresponding number on post interior. This is very secure and time tested construction of beds.
